Gardenasia is a well-known landscaping company that has expanded into the local farm bistro and farmstay villa business, offering a peaceful retreat away from the city. Among their three farmstay villas, only Camellia Villa welcomes pets of all sizes, making it an ideal choice for pet owners looking for a relaxing getaway.
The villa itself is well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully decorated with a charming Chinese-style interior. It features one bedroom, an attic with additional beds, and a single bathroom, comfortably accommodating up to four people. We brought our two dogs along, and they had a fantastic time exploring the spacious villa. However, the attic is not advisable for pets, as there have been incidents of animals falling from it. Pet owners should take extra care, but this didn’t dampen our dogs’ enjoyment of the space.
The surrounding environment is lush and beautiful, reminiscent of the old kampong days, with greenery all around and even a swimming pool available for guests. While pets are not allowed in the pool, there’s still plenty of room for them to run around and enjoy the fresh air.
One of the highlights of the stay was Gardenasia Bistro, a dog-friendly eatery serving dishes made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The option for in-room dining was a great convenience, as we could order meals to our villa while the bistro was open. Breakfast was included in the stay, and we had the choice of dining at the bistro or enjoying a room service breakfast. A particularly charming touch was the use of old-school tin containers, decorated by local artists, to serve the Western-style breakfast.
Beyond relaxing in the villa, we enjoyed strolling around the gardens with our dogs and visiting the large plant nursery. It was a treat to browse through the selection of flowers, potted plants, and even trees, making it easy to take home a little piece of Gardenasia’s greenery.
The service staff were friendly and prompt, making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Communication through WhatsApp was seamless, and our requests were handled quickly and warmly. A special shoutout to AJ, who went above and beyond—when we asked for a bottle opener, he even brought us a bucket of ice! Thoughtful gestures like this made our stay all the more enjoyable and stress-free.
Overall, Gardenasia’s Farmstay offered a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and pet-friendly hospitality. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat or a unique staycation experience with your furry companions, Camellia Villa is a wonderful choice.
